SIT: offer rates by score band

SIT's IGP 2025 gives, for each programme, the share of first-choice polytechnic applicants who received an offer in three GPA bands (below 3.2, 3.2 to under 3.6, and 3.6 to 4.0), with the number of places and graduate employment figures. For A-Level applicants it only publishes rates per academic cluster:

SUTD: a written profile

SUTD publishes no numbers per course. Of the A-Level students offered a place in its 2025 admissions exercise, almost all had taken H2 Mathematics, about half of them with an A or B; most had taken H2 Physics or H2 Chemistry (or both), with over a third scoring A or B. Those who had also taken the O-Levels almost all had As or Bs in Mathematics and the sciences. SUTD sets no minimum polytechnic GPA.

How to read an IGP

3H2/1H1: the grades of three H2 subjects and one H1 subject, such as AAB/C. The 10th percentile is the profile that 90% of the students offered a place reached; the 90th percentile is what the top 10% had.

The profiles describe last year's offers and move with each year's applicants. From AY2026/2027, applicants with 2025 A-Level results no longer have the H1 content subject counted in the UAS by default, so NUS, NTU and SMU point to the 3 H2 grades as the guide.

What is the IGP?

The Indicative Grade Profile is what each Singapore university publishes about last year's offers: for NUS, NTU and SMU, the A-Level grades and polytechnic GPA of the 10th and 90th percentile of students offered a place in each course. SUSS and SIT publish the share of applicants in each score band who got in, and SUTD a short written profile.

What poly GPA do I need for university in Singapore?

It depends on the course. Across the 61 NUS, NTU and SMU courses with a published figure, the 10th percentile GPA ran from 3.18 (NUS Nursing) to 3.93 (NUS Pharmaceutical Science); 19 of them were 3.70 or higher and 46 were 3.50 or higher.

Which university course has the highest IGP?

By polytechnic GPA, NUS Pharmaceutical Science (10th percentile 3.93), then NTU Data Science & Artificial Intelligence (3.89) and NUS Information Security (3.88). By A-Level grades, many courses show AAA/A at the 10th percentile, including NUS Medicine, Law and Dentistry, NTU Medicine and SMU Law.

Is the IGP the minimum grade I need?

No. The 10th percentile means 10% of the students offered a place had lower grades, and meeting it does not guarantee an offer. Courses with interviews, tests or portfolios also look beyond grades, and the profile changes every year.

How does the new UAS change the IGP?

From AY2026/2027, applicants who took the A-Levels in 2025 or later no longer have their H1 content subject counted in the University Admission Score by default. NUS, NTU and SMU suggest reading the 3 H2 grades of the profile as the guide. SUSS and SIT still show UAS bands on the old 90-point scale.
