About the IIUM GPA System

IIUM Grading Note
IIUM grades on a 4.00 scale where C (50-54) is the lowest pass. Below it, D is 1.67, D- 1.33, E 1.00 and F 0, and all four are fails, so IIUM letters do not line up with other Malaysian universities: a D at IIUM means 45-49 marks.
IIUM Accuracy Scope
When you pass a failed required course on a repeat, the failed grade is marked RPT and dropped from your CGPA (for up to two repeats of a course). If you repeat a passed course, the lower grade is dropped. Medicine and Dentistry use Pass/Fail grades instead.
